Maria is a native New Yorker. She discovered her love for acting in fourth grade and has pursued it ever since. She graduated with a drama endorsed high school diploma from the "fame" school, Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School. Upon graduation, she continued her passion to Hofstra University, where she earned her B.F.A. in Theatre Arts performance.
